In a way, this is a typical drummer's album. It's not so much based on melodies, but rather on rhythm patterns, with melodies and chords joining in. It's an unusual - but fantastic - listening experience, because this kind of music is more on the rare side. Hard to assign a genre to it - certainly it belongs to the avantgarde movement. More specifically, I'd say it's an individual kind of chamber rock music.

What a find! From the energetic rhythms of the “Tabletops” and “White Cylinders” to the lush atmospherics of “Arc” and “Ruminant” this is thoroughly engaging and exciting music. An outstanding work!
